Heather L. Benda, Shareholder

Heather Benda has worked in public accounting since 2000. Prior to working in the public accounting sector, Heather worked as a supervisor level-accountant from 1993-2000. Heather’s practice has evolved over the years based upon the needs of her clients and the community. Most of her work consists of providing payroll, bookkeeping, tax, and auditing services for individuals, corporations, trusts, governmental and non-profit entities.

Heather is married to Matt Benda, who is an attorney and partner with the law firm of Peterson, Savelkoul & Benda in Albert Lea. Heather and Matt have two children – Ashler and Avery.

Heather has served on several community organizations. Currently she serves as a Board Trustee for the Naeve Healthcare Foundation and President of the Albert Lea Rotary Club. Heather has also served on the Albert Lea Park and Recreation Board of Directors, the KSMQ Board of Directors, as a gala committee chair for Riverland Community College, room parent for her children’s school and solicitor for the local United Way.
